Our fees and disbursements for a purchase of freehold property at a purchase price between £550,000 – £1,000,000 are £1,650.00 plus VAT £330.00 totalling £1,980.00 plus disbursements as noted above.

Our fees for a purchase of leasehold property at a purchase price between £550,000 – £1,000,000 will be £1,850.00 plus VAT £370.00 totalling £2,220.00 plus disbursements as noted above.

Note that there are many variables in relation to a property transaction and our fees may vary from the above depending on the complexity of the transaction.  Such variable factors can include a defect in the title, unregistered land, planning permission or building regulation consent not being obtained.

In relation to stamp duty this is dependent on the purchase price and is subject to changes made by HMRC in the rate payable.  As such we have not included a figure in our estimates.  However you can calculate the duly payable by using the HMRC tax calculator at tax.service.gov.uk/calculate-stamp-duty-land-tax.

For purchases over £1,000,000.00 fees will be calculated on an hourly rate of £350.00 plus VAT with a minimum of six hours being needed and a maximum of twenty five hours.  In addition, there will be disbursements as noted above.

SALE

Our fees cover all of the work required from initial instructions, dealing with pre-contract enquiries, exchange of contracts, completion including the repayment of any mortgage, settlement of the estate agents’ fees and accounting to you.

The Management Information Pack referred to above is the information which we need to obtain from the Landlord/Management Company and provide to the buyer.  The fee charged for providing this information varies greatly and we will confirm the exact cost as soon as we have confirmation of the fee from the Landlord/Management Company

Our fees and disbursements for a sale of freehold property at a purchase price between £550,000 – £1,000,000 are £1,550.00 plus VAT £310.00 totalling £1,860.00 plus disbursements at noted above.

Our fees and disbursements for a sale of leasehold property at a purchase price between £550,000 – £1,000,000 are £1,750.00 plus VAT £350.00 totalling £2,100.00 plus disbursements at noted above.
